The Quad-Cities Unity Pride Parade is set for June 17! WHO:  QC Pride, Inc. And inviting the greater QCA community to come out in support, to watch and enjoy! Members of the LGBTQ are invited to walk in the parade for free with their favorite float entry and/or to join in at the end of the Parade and then walk with us to the Pride Party at Bass St. Landing which begins at 3:30pm, hosted by The Project of the Quad Cities. Dear University Community, While Pride Month is celebrated annually each June in remembrance of the Stonewall uprising, Western Illinois University will celebrate Pride Month throughout April to recognize the impact that lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender individuals have had at WIU throughout the years.
