One Human Family Quad Cities will be hosting an event at the Davenport Public Library, Eastern Avenue branch with local author and educator, Adrienne C. Graham. This event will begin with the author reading her book, The Color of Friendship, followed by discussions and an activity. This event will be held on Saturday, August 14 at 10 am. One Human Family QCA Hosting Memorial For Ruth Bader Ginsberg Tonight

One Human Family QCA is hosting an interfaith Zoom Memorial for the late Justice Ruth Bader Ginsberg this evening (Wed. 9/23) at 7:30 pm. There will be speakers, music and an invite for all attending to express their grief/thoughts/hope. All speakers are limited to 3 minutes maximum. The event closing will consist of elements from the Jewish tradition and be led by Rabbi Linda Bertenthal, Rabbi Henry Karp and Cantor Gail Karp. The One Human Family is forming a Care-A-Van of Thanks and Unity to our diverse health care workers of the Quad-Cities. On Wednesday, April 15 a Care-A-Van decorated with messages of thanks from Buddhists, Jews, Christians, Muslims and Humanists will make its way to four nursing homes on the Iowa side of the River   On Wed., April 22 beginning at noon, a similar caravan will make its way to four nursing homes on the Illinois side of the river.
