Michael Carton, director of education and outreach for WQPT (Quad Cities PBS), is in his fourth year of teaching computer coding classes to area K-3 students. But since last spring, it’s been very limited because of Covid restrictions. WQPT is presenting a special online preview screening of clips from The Age of Nature followed by a discussion with local experts in the area of nature conservation. The event begins at 6:30 pm on September 23rd and is accessible by visiting wqpt.org/nature to register. WQPT Celebrating 20 Years Of America's Test Kitchen

WQPT Writing Contest Winners Selected

WQPT received 265 stories from students in kindergarten through third grade for the annual PBS/WQPT KIDS Writers Contest. Sixteen winners (four from each grade) were selected by educators and contest sponsors. WQPT received hundreds of stories from students in kindergarten through third grade for the annual PBS KIDS Writers Contest. Sixteen winners (four from each grade) were selected by educators and contest sponsors.
