One of the most unique, colorful, fun, and creative stores in the Quad-Cities is going to be closing its doors. Crafted QC, at 221 E. 2nd St., will be shutting down for good at the end of August. The owner of the store, Mary Talbert, sent out this announcement and posted this to her social media today: So this is a hard email to write, but I’m confident this is 100% the right decision. Crafted QC is opening up again! The quirky, fun, downtown Davenport shop at 221 E. 2nd St., will open its doors tomorrow. The shop released the following email today: Two months. We’ve been closed for over two months. There have been tears, there have been times I’ve been ready to throw in the towel, there’s been fear. But there’s also been a lot of love. The August installment of the Rock Island Artists’ Market is being held on Sunday, August 12 from 12-4 pm in the parking lot of Skeleton Key Art and Antiques at 520 18th Street, Rock Island, and will double as the 5th birthday celebration of Skeleton Key.
