The Quad City Storm, your local hockey squad, is honoring veterans this weekend with their Salute To Veterans game Saturday night at 7 p.m.! There will be special deals for customers, special honors for veterans, and various benefits for veterans charities, including a jersey auction of special themed jerseys worn by the team that night! In addition, this week, families and friends of local veterans were asked to come on down to the TaxSlayer to paint the ice with the names of their beloved veterans, with all proceeds from the painting going to charity. Last Day To Bid On Storm Peanuts Jerseys!

Today is the final day for fans to bid on the Storm’s Halloween Peanuts jerseys online at http://www.QuadCityStorm.com!   The auction will close at 7:00 P.M. central time.  All net proceeds will benefit the Martin Luther King Jr. Community Center in Rock Island which serves to provide opportunities for a diverse population through a variety of programs and services. Toporowski Headed Home As Assistant Coach Of Storm

The Quad City Storm has added Jake Toporowski to its hockey staff as an assistant coach.  Toporowski is the first assistant coach in the history of the franchise.
