How many bees are in a hive? What does it take to be queen?  Which bees sting? Buzz over to the Fairmount St. Library Children’s Garden on Monday, June 28th at 6:30 pm and find out from a local beekeeper and a swarm of her very important pollinator friends. Through Sunday, January 24, the Bettendorf Public Library is hosting exclusive access to Community Connections: Betty Crocker – Her Cookbook That Changed How America Cooks. In a major change to Illinois law, recreational-use cannabis will be legalized in 2020. To help answer questions about impacts and issues of this new law, the Rock Island Public Library and City of Rock Island Community and Economic Development department will host a panel discussion November 12.
