The revered and lauded local golf tournament drawing fans and sportsmen from around the world, the John Deere Classic, runs at Moline’s Deere Run course through Sunday. Competitors began teeing off today, with a wide-range of events and promotions surrounding the event. Favorites for the trophy this year include last year’s winner, Bryson DeChambeau, as well as perennial favorite and past champion Steve Stricker.
