The McDonough County Health Department, in cooperation with Western Illinois University, will host a COVID-19 vaccination clinic for WIU faculty, staff and student employees only (graduate assistants and undergrad student workers) from 8:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m. Thursday, April 1 on the WIU-Macomb campus. Please note that retirees, dependents, spouses and alumni are not eligible to participate. The Moderna vaccine will be available, with the second dose clinic set at WIU for 8:30 a.m.-4 p.m. Thursday, April 29. Thursday, March 11, COVID-19 surveillance testing is underway at Western Illinois University and will continue as the semester progresses. Additional open appointment times may be added periodically for those who would like to be tested,but have not been selected as part of the surveillance test population. In addition, the Illinois Department of Public Health (IDPH) has added select dates for free test clinics on the WIU-Macomb campus, the next being March 11.
