2020 has certainly been a life-altering, challenging year, but Freddy Allen is getting by with a little help from his friends. The 50-year-old Davenport jazz pianist and singer has been a professional musician for 37 years, performing all over the globe. Spending most of his career in Chicago, Allen moved to Davenport three years ago to be close to family and become a part of the vibrant music scene in the Quad-Cities. The Hauberg Estate’s annual murder mystery scavenger hunt, “The Witching Hour,” will take place on Saturday, October 19th from 6pm to 10pm. The mysterious and mystifying Mansion is located at 1300 24th Street, Rock Island, IL 61201. Tickets for the Friends of Hauberg Civic Center Foundation fundraiser are $35 and advance purchase is required. Food included from Igor’s Bistro and the Cash Bar is available for your witches brew. On Friday Oct 11, when the doors open (6:30 p.m.) the Hauberg Estate is going dark for the “Flashlight Tour – A Nocturnal Adventure.” The Hauberg Estate is located at 1300 24th Street, in Rock Island, IL. Inside the mansion, all the lights have been turned off and guests will receive a Hauberg Estate flashlight to navigate their way.
