Fright Night Moves To Rock Island’s Sunset Park Thursday Night!

Fright Night is moving to Sunset Park! This year the Rock Island Parks and Recreation department will be having a Drive-Through Fright Night on Thursday Oct 22 from 5 – 7 p.m.! Enter Sunset Park (Sunset Road – 18th & 31st Avenues) on 18th Avenue and stay in your car as you travel through the park to have your children trick-or-treat and see all the ghost and goblins from local organizations! Lots Of Treats In Store At Local Halloween Events

There are going to be plenty of treats, tricks, scares and surprises during this year’s Halloween season in the Quad-Cities, and here are some of the events you can check out. Fright Night takes place beginning at 5 p.m. in the District in downtown Rock Island, featuring music, fun activities for kids, crafts and arts, lots of free candy, a costume contest, DJ Jeff James and more. Fright Night in The District, a fun, safe, and free Halloween event, will be held Thursday, October 27, 2016 from 5 to 8 p.m. in downtown Rock Island. This event in made possible by presenting sponsor Modern Woodmen of America. The District and Rock Island Parks and Recreation with support from Rock Island County Project, Girl Scouts of Eastern Iowa and Western Illinois, and the Martin Luther King Jr. Center are proud to host this annual children’s event.
