The student-run Western Illinois University Food Pantry will open next week for the first week of the Spring 2021 semester. The pantry, located in Horrabin Hall, room 10, will be open from noon-5 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 21, and from 10 a.m.-noon Saturday, Jan. 23. Until then, the pantry is open from noon-3 p.m. on Tuesdays during the holiday break. The Western Illinois University Food Pantry will continue implementing the appointment-only system through the remainder of in-person classes on campus, through Wednesday, Nov.18. The Pantry is now located in Horrabin Hall, room 10. The appointment form, located here will be re-used every week to fill out an appointment time. There will not be a weekly form. An appointment must be made to visit the WIU Food Pantry. Patrons are asked to fill this form out in advance of Thursdays or Saturdays. The Western Illinois University Food Pantry is implementing new COVID-19 procedures, as the current health situation continues. The food pantry, now located in Horrabin Hall, room 10, will remain open every Thursday from noon-5 p.m., and Saturday 10 a.m.-noon.
