Are you ready for a fun-filled day of Bags ‘n Brews in the Village of East Davenport? The 7th Annual Bags ‘N Brews tournament, benefiting Gilda’s Club of the Quad Cities, happens this Saturday Aug 10 from 1 – 5 p.m. in Lindsey Park (2225-2399 E 11th Street Davenport). $35 per person includes tournament play, Famous Dave’s BBQ and craft beer tasting. Remember the care-free days of joking and laughing at the kids’ table? Well those days do not have to be over! The Family Museum in Bettendorf is bringing back that euphoric feeling with their one night event, The Kids’ Table: A Grown Up Helping. This opportunity takes place on Saturday, March 4 from 6:30-10pm at the Family Museum (2900 Learning Campus Drive in Bettendorf). Tickets are $50 each or you can sponsor a table of eight for $500. On Saturday, March 4, from 6:30 – 10:00 pm, the Family Museum will host “The Kids’ Table: A Grown-Up Helping,” an exclusive, one-night fundraising event for grown-ups featuring gourmet twists on classic kid food composed and prepared by local chefs and businesses. This event will offer guests a chance to take a trip down memory lane through food, games, and entertainment. The purpose of the event is to raise money for the Family Museum Foundation and to remind guests of a time when play was a priority and that sitting at The Kids’ Table wasn’t so bad after all.
