Join the Wapsi River Environmental Education Center (31555 52nd Ave Dixon) for an exciting day of presentations, activities, hiking, and crafts. Activities are geared for all ages and abilities. It’s The Great Pumpkin Festival, Charlie Brown!

Kick off the fall season this weekend with DeWitt’s Great Pumpkin Festival! This Sunday, Oct 15 from 11 a.m. – 3 p.m. Downtown DeWitt will transform into a festival filled with pumpkins, scarecrows and fun! Starting at 11 a.m. the Women of Welton will hold a baking contest featuring dishes containing apple, pumpkin or nuts. A bake sale will follow! The Chainsaw Pumpkin Carving Contest also begins at 11 a.m. with a $15 entry fee. The pumpkin will be provided, but you will need to bring your own carving equipment.
