American Artists virtual event series returns with Time for Art event via the Bettendorf Public Library

The Bettendorf Public Library and Butterworth Center & Deere-Wiman House are offering another installment of its popular series, Time for Art. On Saturday, April 10th, Carol Ehlers will give a virtual art talk at 3:00 PM via GoToMeeting. This live presentation will focus on the Figge Art Museum’s current exhibit, “For America: Paintings from the National Academy of Design” and will specifically feature the work of John Singer Sargent and Henry Ossawa Tanner. Summer at Deere-Wiman House always means great performances at their Music on the Lawn concerts series. This year, they’re still inviting Quad Cities daycare providers and local families to enjoy high energy, family-oriented concerts, but with a fresh twist to accommodate social distancing guidelines.
