The Iowa Democratic Black Caucus and Scott County  Democrats will host an event for candidates and constituents on Sunday, May 1 at Davenport’s River Music Experience from 2-4 p.m. River Music Experience is located at 129 N. Craig Cooper announced today he will be a candidate for the Iowa House of Representatives. Cooper will be a Democratic candidate in Iowa House District 81, which includes neighborhoods of West Davenport and Northwest Davenport. Cooper will retire from Genesis Health System as senior communications specialist at the end of January. He also is a former sports and business reporter at the Quad-City Times.
