City Of Davenport Invests In Local Businesses For DREAM Project

The City of Davenport invested $900,000 in seven local businesses through the Commercial DREAM Project. 2022 saw these transformations take place, enhancing the exterior of each commercial property through the repair and rehabilitation of the façade. Davenport is on the move in a good way! And a green way! In addition to the funding that City Council allocates each year for a variety of capital improvement projects, City staff also pursues a number of grant opportunities each year to leverage the investment the City has made on a number of projects. 9th-Annual Icestravaganza in Davenport Expanded to Three Days

You can chill out in a winter wonderland in the Downtown Davenport Partnership (DDP) expanded 9th-annual Icestravaganza. The celebration will run from 5 p.m., Friday, Jan. 15, through 10 p.m., Sunday, Jan. 17, at the Freight House in downtown Davenport, 421 W. River Drive. The free event features beautiful ice carvings (more than 24,000 pounds’ worth) on display all three days at the Freight House and throughout Downtown Davenport.
