Muscatine residents have been getting a different viewpoint on the issues that involve and engage them in a new community access show, Muscatine Viewpoint, which debuted Jan. 25 and runs at 6:30 p.m. Wednesdays on public access television, channel 9 and digital channel 709. Harry Potter Fest Magically Appears In Muscatine

A new festival is magically appearing in Muscatine this weekend – the first annual Harry Potter Festival Saturday, April 29, in Muscatine. Patrons will be able to fly in on their brooms to enjoy quidditch tournaments, card games, tailgating, delicacies like butter beer and more at the free event beginning at 10:30 a.m. at Muscatine Community College, 152 Colorado Ave. on the Park Ave. Recreation Field (formerly Heinz Field).
