Are you ready to celebrate the birthday of one of America’s greatest legends, William ‘Buffalo Bill’ Cody in his hometown? Sunday Feb 25 the Buffalo Bill Museum in LeClaire (199 N Front St) will be celebrating the birthday of their native son! This is event is free to the public and will be from 12-4 p.m. William F. Cody was born on Feb 26, 1846 in LeClaire. Cody left home at the young age of 11 to herd cattle and work and a driver on a wagon train. He went on to join the Pony Express in 1860.
