The Bettendorf Public Library is offering a virtual concert throughout the month of November featuring one time local, Jordan Danielsen. The limited time viewing will be available via the Bettendorf Public Library’s YouTube channel starting on November 1st and running through November 30th. Bettendorf Public Library Craft-Tea dates announced through the end of 2021

The Bettendorf Public Library has set aside time for conversation, creating, and tea at its Craft-Tea event. Crafters aged 16 and up are welcome to bring their works-in-progress to the program for dedicated work time. Participants are also welcome to use the library’s colored pencils, paper, and other crafting supplies available to start something new. Complimentary tea and water will be available. Local libraries have dubbed October as TeenTober, a celebration of area young adult services available to teens. The Bettendorf Public Library is seeking tweens and teens ages 11 – 19 to participate by reading and creating videos and submitting them for the community-wide TeenTober challenge. Writers who are looking to sharpen their craft will not want to miss the Bettendorf Public Library’s new writing club. Bettendorf Public Library’s mystery book group to dive into an international intrigue

On Saturday, October 9th, the Bettendorf Public Library’s Mystery Book Discussion book will explore an international novel of crime and secrecy with its discussion of Dark Echoes of the Past by Ramon Diaz Eterovic. Set in Chile, the book involves a deep seeded mystery surrounding a death with a case closed too soon. The Mystery Book Discussion Group, which is always seeking new members, meets on the second Saturday of each month from September through May.
