Race Reimagined: The Power of Local History

  1. Race Reimagined: The Power of Local History 32:44

This episode is all about the power of history — the stories that live in our communities, in our neighborhoods, and the people who have dedicated their lives to preserving them. Our special guest is Angela Snook, a longtime educator and former curator of the Geneseo Historical Museum, and the heart behind the museum’s Illinois Underground Railroad Exhibit. Hosted by Kayla Babers and Jasmine Babers-Gunn, alongside 2026 Her Voice Media Fellows Tamiah Rogers and Carla Nieto.
