I would like, if I may, to tell you of the play that is taking place in the District of Rock Island just a couple of doors down from Circa 21’s popular main theatre in their Speakeasy.  It is much smaller but not any less fun. The return of the Quad City Mallards to the I wireless center ice is among the “cool” things going on in downtown Moline Centre this weekend. Plan to attend the Mercado on Fifth open air market this Friday, October 14, from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month, there will be special performances by Grupo Innstinto, Quad City Ballet Folklorico and the Glenview Middle School Mariachi Band.
