For area students who are beginning the college search process, the annual Illinois Regional College Fair will be hosted by Western Illinois Western Illinois University Holding College Fair for Area Students Sept. 21University Tuesday, Sept. 21. The fair, which will be held from 6-7:30 p.m. in the University Union Grand Ballroom on the WIU-Macomb campus, will feature representatives from WIU and approximately 50 public and private Midwestern universities.

Students are required to register prior to attending the fair. Registration is free, and students will receive a unique barcode that college and university representatives can scan, saving students time from completing individual information cards. To register, visit strivefair.com.

Face coverings are required in all campus facilities. Students and guests must also complete the self-check at wiu.edu/selfcheck before arriving on campus.

For a more in-depth Western experience, Fall 2021 Discover Western open house events will be held in Macomb Saturday, Sept. 25, Monday, Oct. 11, Saturday, Oct. 23 and Saturday, Dec. 4 and on the WIU-Quad Cities campus in Moline Saturday, Oct. 16 and Saturday, Nov. 20. Individual tours may also be scheduled at wiu.edu/visit.
