Quad City Botanical Center Hosts Pay What You Can Week This Week
The Quad City Botanical Center is allowing guests to pay what they can for admission to the gardens September 12-18. Eliminating financial
barriers to entry makes the gardens accessible to all regardless of the ability to pay the general admission fee.
The public is welcome to visit Sunday 11AM-5PM and 10AM-5PM Monday through Saturday. Standard general admission is $7 for adults 16 and older, $4 for youth ages 2-15 and toddlers under age two receive free admission. Members always get in free.
Fall highlights at the Botanical Center include interactive water play in the newly expanded Children’s Garden, colorful perennial and wildflower prairie gardens that attract butterflies, a whimsical fairy wonderland called Pat’s Garden and an indoor Tropical Sun Garden with a waterfall.
The garden train railway exhibit is open on Sunday 1-4PM.
Ask in guest services at the entrance about scavenger hunt lists. Most guests with children enjoy a visit that lasts one to two hours.
