Davenport’s German American Heritage Center Offering A White Rose

Join the German American Heritage Center on Sunday, May 31st at 2pm for “The White Rose,” a virtual program presented by Olivia Covert, Development, Volunteer, and Education Coordinator at the GAHC. The White Rose was a non-violent student resistance group in the Third Reich. These University of Munich students stood up to the Nazis, writing and distributing pamphlets that encouraged resistance and rejected Nazi ideals.
