Eardrum-splitting, headbanging metal music isn’t usually considered the soundtrack to kindness and altruism, but a cadre of axe shredders are getting together once more for a caring cause at the Headbangers for Hayden Concert from noon to midnight Sept. 30 at Rose Bowl, 1411 Grandview Ave, Muscatine.
