The U.S. Navy is sailing into the Quad Cities for the fourth time as part of the Navy Week program, the Navy’s premier outreach program. Navy Week is Jun 24-30 in conjunction with the Quad Cities Air Show, headlined by the Navy’s flight demonstration squadron – the Blue Angels.

 

Navy Week will feature more than 75 unique outreach events throughout the community including:

–          Free public concerts by Navy Band Great Lakes

–          Youth and educational engagements with USS Constitution, the Navy’s oldest commissioned warship

–          Public events featuring the area’s namesake vessels, USS The Sullivans (DDG 68) and USS Sioux City (LCS 11)

–          Daily appearances on morning network news, and each afternoon on Living Local
