Able-bodied volunteers that can handle bending over for substantial periods of time are needed to help maintain the nursery by pulling weeds that are trying to compete with the little oak trees!

These events will take place outside so please dress appropriately for the weather and in clothes that can get dirty. Long pants and closed-toed shoes required. LL&W will provide gloves, drinks, lunch, and music!

Upcoming MillionTrees Project- Nursery Maintenance dates are Saturday Aug 4 and Saturday Sep 8, if you aren’t able to make it this week.

The MillionTrees Project was initiated in 2007 to help further Living Lands & Waters’ mission to protect, preserve and restore the natural environment of our nation’s major rivers and their watersheds. The mission is to not only clean up the riverways, but to also enhance the watershed by planting native trees and removing invasive plants.

Don’t miss this opportunity to help better our community and enjoy some outdoor fun!
