Be A Rebel At 5K
With warmer weather comes faster cars. That’s right, race season is here!
The Davenport Speedway (2815 W Locust Street Davenport) will be kicking off their 2018 season this weekend! On Friday Apr 13 the season starts with the REBEL 5K- IMCA Deery Brothers Summer Series.
Pit gates open at 4:30 p.m. Grandstand gates open at 5 p.m. with Hot Laps beginning at 6 p.m. The highly anticipated racing will take off at 6:30 p.m.
Tickets are $20 for adults, $18 for students and seniors, and children 12 and under are free. The cost for a pit pass is $35.
The REBEL 5K is highlighted by Late Models racing on the quarter-mile track, with a $5,000 prize awaiting the winner. Also racing at the REBEL 5K will be IMCA Mods, IMCA Sport Mods and Street Stock.
