In 2011, the LGBT*QA Resource Center was established at Western Illinois University to serve as a home, and to raise awareness for, the lesbian, gay, bisexual, trans, questioning+ community at WIU. Ten years later, the resource center provides that home-away-from-home, numerous programming and events and resources for the WIU and surrounding communities. The McDonough County Health Department, in cooperation with Western Illinois University, will host a COVID-19 vaccination clinic for WIU faculty, staff and student employees only (graduate assistants and undergrad student workers) from 8:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m. Thursday, April 1 on the WIU-Macomb campus. MACOMB/MOLINE, IL — The Western Illinois University Board of Trustees voted to increase tuition, room and meal plan rates for new, incoming students at its March 26 Board meeting. Tuition, room and meal plan rates have remained level/unchanged since Fiscal Year 2020 (Fall 2019). The 2021-2022 tuition rate for all incoming domestic undergraduate students will move to at $9,238 annually ($307.94/credit hour), from $8,883 annually.
