After Many Tries, Quad-Cities' Fourth Wall Films Looking for First Emmy Win in November

Kelly and Tammy Rundle of Moline-based Fourth Wall Films are certainly hoping the fifth time is the charm. Fundraising Underway to Complete Delayed Forest Grove School Film

Kelly and Tammy Rundle of Fourth Wall Films have been busy doing outdoor shooting at a restored Bettendorf schoolhouse. The footage will be used in the Forest Grove School’s new museum film and their new documentary feature, Resurrecting Forest Grove. The Rundles’ are in post-production on the schoolhouse museum film and hope to have it wrapped in November. “Sons & Daughters of Thunder” is continuing to make noise throughout the Iowa Film Awards scene! The movie, created by Kelly and Tammy Rundle, won a Critic’s Choice Award at the 2020 Iowa Independent Film Festival tonight. First Northwest Illinois Film Fest Attracts 170-Plus Movie Fans

More than 170 fans of independent film converged on the Midway Drive-In Theatre in Sterling, Ill., for the first-annual Northwest Illinois Film Festival on Aug. 26. Most came from the Northwest Illinois region, some from Chicagoland, and one flew in from Los Angeles, according to the festival organizer, the Northwest Illinois Film Office (NIFO). Several Quad-Cities artists were honored this past weekend with awards at the 29th-annual Iowa Motion Picture Association (IMPA) award ceremony. Early yesterday, the duo of area filmmakers found out their feature, “Sons and Daughters of Thunder,” was an official selection of the 2020 Iowa Independent Film Festival. Fourth Wall, Putnam Present “A Bridge Too Far from Hero Street” Online July 4th Weekend

Eight months after its stirring premiere at the Putnam Museum Giant Screen Theater in Davenport, “A Bridge Too Far From Hero Street” – a new film that tells the true story of one local soldier’s involvement in the largest air assault in history – will be shown in two free online screenings over the July 4th weekend.
