After eight years, Comedy Sportz is leaving The Establishment Theater, 220 19th Street, Rock Island. “It is not the close of our shows just the venue,” said Patrick Adamson, director of Comedy Sportz Quad-Cities. “I don’t want to disclose the future locations for ComedySportz yet.”We are excited for the future,” Adamson added. “The team is on board and ready to rumble. The Quad Cities’ grassroots music festival “Dawn and On” revealed their talent lineup, at the same time confirming a venue change to Rock Island’s Schwiebert Park for the July 6 event. The Big Swing is stepping to the tee in downtown Rock Island, opening its doors at noon today at the location of the old Blue Cat Brew Pub, 113 18th St., with a limited menu for Friday and Saturday before closing Sunday and Monday and re-opening with its full menu Tuesday, March 19.
