KISS night at the Q-C Storm!

Over 4,000 rock and rolled all night as the Q-C Storm rewarded them with a big victory on KISS night! Fans got to celebrate with the rock hits of their favorite band and break the record for most people wearing KISS masks at an arena! They also bid on various KISS items and jerseys and to date the Storm have raised over $30,000 for the USO with their efforts in conjunction with the band. KISS Night Rocks Q-C Storm Game Saturday

They’re ready to rock and roll all night and party every day, at least Saturday night, as KISS night rocks the TaxSlayer Center for the Q-C Storm! The Storm has partnered with KISS to raise money for the USO of Illinois! Special KISS jerseys will be worn at our March 9 game then auctioned off afterwards with all money going to the USO. One jersey will be raffled at the game and include two tickets to KISS on March 10 at the TaxSlayer Center. Q-C Storm Raises Over $20,000 To Fight Cancer

The Quad City Storm, “the team that gives back,” hosted a Hockey Fights Cancer Weekwhich began with a Paint the Ice Event on February 6 and ended with a win over arch rival Peoria Rivermen on February 9. The game drew a crowd of over 5,000 and raised $21,700 for Gilda’s Club of the Quad Cities. The Storm’s Giving Back Campaign, #QCSTORMCARES, has now raised over $64,700 in only 16 games with hopes to raise $100,000 for local charities before the season ends in April. Join Local Organizations as They Stick It to Cancer!

Join Ascentra Credit Union, Quad City Storm and Gilda’s Club Quad Cities as they decorate the ice with the names of those that have been affected by cancer! Paint the Ice Night – Cancer Night takes place this Wednesday Feb 6 at the TaxSlayer Center (1201 River Drive Moline). This event is free and open to the public. From 10 a.m. – 7 p.m. anyone can stop by to paint the names of those they want to honor directly on the ice. The names will remain on the ice for the Saturday Feb 9 game against the Peoria Rivermen. Casale Joining The Q-C Storm

The Quad City Storm have traded the Fayetteville Marksmen for forward Michale Casale in exchange for future considerations. Casale, 25, is a native of Stoney Creek, Ontario and is playing his first year of professional hockey.  This season he has tallied 2 goals and 2 assists through 16 games and has recorded a +1 on-ice rating. There’s plenty going on with the Quad-Cities Storm this week! The hockey team has been active in roster changes and more. Here’s the rundown: Harrison Added To Bolster Blue Line   Patrick Harrison has been signed by the Quad City Storm. Harrison is a defenseman from Vernon, Ontario and is in his fourth year playing professional hockey. The Quad City Storm has reacquired forward Tim Perks. Perks was a member of the Storm’s training camp roster and released before the regular season roster was finalized.  He is a first-year pro and graduated from Northland College last year where he played for four years. The Quad City Storm Hockey team has reminded members of the community to be wary of online ticketing offers and scams ahead of Saturday’s inaugural season opener.    There were several reports of online purchase scams involving the opening night game on October 20. In most cases, fans received the tickets but were charged excessive service and handling fees.
