Quad-City Music Guild Youth Chorus in Concert Sunday

The newly formed Quad-City Music Guild Youth Chorus will perform their spring concert Sunday, April 23rd, at 2 p.m. at the Music Guild Theater. The sun will come out . . . in November. At Music Guild. Quad City Music Guild is proud to announce the addition of the musical “Annie” to its 2017 Season. “Annie” will fill the slot of the Holiday show with performances beginning on November 29 running thru December 3rd. Cue the Trombones for Wilson Middle School’s Music Man Junior

Wilson Middle School is proud to raise the curtain on Music Man Jr March 2 and 3. The show will be presented in the school’s auditorium at 7:00 both nights. Tickets are $5 for adults and $3 for students. Doors open at 6:30. The most powerful dramas come with a healthy dose of comedy. And I might add the most powerful dramas have at least as many laughs as tears. I saw Fried Green Tomatoes with my mom and my grandma when I was ten. Forrest Gump, My Girl, Big Fish, How to Make An American Quilt, these are all dramatic stories. Tearjerkers. Music Guild Holding Youth Chorus Auditions

The Quad-City Music Guild will hold auditions for it’s Youth Chorus on Saturday January 14th from 1:00pm to 3:00pm and Monday January 16th from 4:30 to 6:00pm. Eligible are 3rd thru 8th graders (during the 2016 thru 2017 school year). Auditions will be held at the Quad City Music Guild Theater in Prospect Park, 1584 34th Avenue, Moline IL. Auditioners should bring sheet music for an age-appropriate song, 1 minute or less. That’s why Plan For Adventure is hosting its first of eight specially designed mobility classes on Tuesday, January 3, 2017. There is a terrifying place in Moline at 5027 4th Ave. The Factory of Fear is just down the road from the water park. They open every year and the same cast comes back to scare the living daylights out of our beloved Quad Cities without fail upon each return. Entry is $15 and $20 for VIP.
