Quad Cities Music Festival Dawn and On has announced Family Resources as their charity partner for the 2019 event. A portion of all ticket sales will be donated directly to the Family Resources’ Engaging Males program for music mentoring. The Adler Theater is getting Steamrolled. Chip Davis, founder and creator of Mannheim Steamroller, will celebrate the 35th Anniversary of his annual Christmas concert tour, making it the longest running consecutive concert tour in the entertainment industry. Davis said the hallmark tour will begin on November 11, 2019 and run through December 29, 2019. Two traveling ensembles will hold performances in cities across the country. Tripmaster Monkey has dropped a number of previews and snippets from the group’s upcoming new album, its first disc of new material in over 20 years. Tripmaster Monkey, one of the most commercially and creatively successful bands in Quad-Cities music history, has reunited to begin recording a new album, and has begun a kickstarter campaign to get fans involved in the process and raise money for the project. The Quad Cities’ grassroots music festival “Dawn and On” revealed their talent lineup, at the same time confirming a venue change to Rock Island’s Schwiebert Park for the July 6 event.
