Rock Island County Health Department Reports 8,511 Total Covid Cases

The Rock Island County Health Department is reporting three additional deaths from COVID-19: two men in their 70s who had been hospitalized and a man in his 90s who had been living in a long-term-care facility. Covid-19 is now the third-highest cause of death in Illinois, according to statistics announced one day before additional statewide coronavirus mitigations are slated to go into effect.
