Genesis is hosting a Community Open House for the newly remodeled Genesis Center for Breast Health (CBH) location within the Genesis Medical Center, Silvis campus on Thursday, June 9. There will be tours available, and prospective patients can meet the providers from 4 to 6 p.m. The state-of-the-art facility offers comprehensive breast care, including screening, diagnosis, biopsies, and surgery. Flu-Free Quad Cities Offers Family Friendly Flu Vaccination Clinic TODAY!

The Genesis Flu-Free Quad Cities program will offer four family vaccination clinics providing protection against seasonal influenza Tuesday, Oct. 26 at TaxSlayer Center, Moline, from 3-6 p.m.; and, Wednesday, Oct. 27 from 3-6 p.m. at Brady Street Stadium, Davenport. These clinics will provide free seasonal influenza vaccinations to all ages. Genesis Flu-Free Quad Cities has provided more than 100,000 free flu vaccinations since the origin of the program in 2007. The outbreak of COVID-19 and the preventive measures recommended to slow spread of the virus had at least one unexpected result. Seasonal influenza cases disappeared in the United States. The Genesis Flu-Free Quad Cities effort will be back this fall to hopefully continue the steep decrease of flu diagnoses in the region. Genesis Flu-Free Quad Cities provides free seasonal influenza vaccinations in elementary schools throughout the region.
