Bucktown is back.   The art gallery is reopening today after being closed for over two months due to the Flood of 2019. Sunrise Galleries East in the Bucktown Center for the Arts is reinstalling paintings and photography after having the business closed since April 30th when a Hesco barrier broke flooding Downtown Davenport. The Tony Bennett concert originally scheduled for this Wednesday, June 5 at the Adler Theatre has been cancelled.  The official cause of cancellation is “scheduling conflicts,” although that’s usually code for low ticket sales and according to sources, ticket sales for the show did not live up to expectations.
