On a day before record low temperatures were predicted to freeze the Quad-Cities, hundreds of people spent a brrrrr-tiful afternoon celebrating winter’s wiles during the free Icetravaganza at Davenport’s Freight House. Two new events are brewing Saturday, Oct. 15 at the German American Heritage Center, 712 W. 2nd St., Davenport. A Genealogy Workshop with Antje Petty runs from 9:30am-12:00pm.
