The Adler Theatre Foundation is thrilled to present an eclectic series of performances at the Adler Theatre featuring celebrated national touring artists and incredible local performers. Reserved seat tickets to the 2021 Adler Theatre Foundation Series will go on-sale this Friday, April 16 at 10:00 a.m. in person at the Adler Theatre Box Office (136 E. 3rd St.) and online at Ticketmaster.com. Daiquiri Factory Opening Second Location In Davenport This Summer

The Shenanigans have long been over, but some new shenanigans — at a second Daiquiri Factory — are about to begin. The Daiquiri Factory, long a mainstay among popular downtown Rock Island nightclubs, will be opening up a second spot in the old Shenanigan’s Pub building, 303 W. 3rd St., Davenport. After getting canceled last summer due to Covid, the popular Bix 7 weekend festivities and Alternating Currents festival are returning to downtown Davenport this summer. After being bruised and battered from the spring 2019 flood and the 2020 pandemic, downtown Davenport is looking to a much brighter 2021, as the Davenport City Council officially accepted a comprehensive downtown master plan at its Jan. 27 meeting. The new Raccoon Motel bar and live-music venue plans to open St. Patrick’s Day 2021 at the old Abernathy’s in downtown Davenport, with live music starting in early summer, one of its partners said Wednesday.
