MACOMB/MOLINE, IL – Western Illinois University will continue to host numerous COVID-19 test dates during the Spring 2021 semester. In keeping with Tier 3 guidelines, which remain in place, employees are encouraged to work remotely when possible and should coordinate with their supervisor to determine appropriate arrangements. MACOMB/MOLINE, IL – From Monday, Nov. 16 through Friday, Nov. 20, free COVID-19 simple nasal swab tests will be provided to any member of the Western Illinois University Macomb campus community (students/faculty/staff) prior to the holidays. Covid Surveillance Testing Underway At Western Illinois University Campuses

MACOMB/MOLINE, IL – Surveillance testing is underway on Western Illinois Unviersity’s Macomb and Quad Cities campuses. Each week, approximately 700 students, faculty and staff will receive an email encouraging them to get a free COVID test provided by Beu Health Center. According to Executive Director of Auxiliary Services and Risk Management Joe Roselieb, the University is now using the self-administered BD Veritor nasal swab tests, which are completed on-site at the test distribution center on the Macomb Campus.
