Skellington Manor, located at 420 18th Street Rock Island, was built in the late 1800’s and was previously a Masonic Temple. The building has been deemed as one of the ‘most active investigations in Rock Island’ by a paranormal investigation team. Many reports of spooky and scary occurrences have been made regarding this allegedly haunted building. And now you have an opportunity to check it out for yourself.

Terror Strikes Skellington Manor This Weekend

Terror at Skellington Manor was voted one of 2016’s and 2015’s top 10 Haunted Houses in Illinois by HauntedIllinois.com. And for good reason. Between the over the top special effects, chilling live character performances and reported paranormal activity this haunted attraction is bound to leave you feeling stunned and frightened.

General admission is $15 and VIP Fast Pass admission is $20. They are open weekends throughout October. Friday and Saturday from 7 p.m. – Midnight, Sunday from 7-10 p.m. and the last Thursday in October from 7-10 p.m.

There is plenty of indoor waiting area for those cold or rainy evenings. It is recommended to wear comfortable shoes that will stay on your feet, as the attraction does cover multiple floors. Plus, you will want your shoes to come with you when you start running away, terrified.

Due to the frightening nature of this attraction, it is not recommended for young children. Scare-D-Cat Day on Saturday Oct 28 from 1-4 p.m. will present an opportunity to bring the little ones, however. This event will allow patrons to view the Haunted Manor in the light without the special effects or actors.
