About Davenport

Davenport brings art, baseball, and everyday life together on the Iowa side of the Mississippi. Downtown, a riverfront walk can take you past LeClaire Park and within reach of the Figge Art Museum, the Adler Theatre, and Modern Woodmen Park. The water is a constant presence, but the blocks behind it are just as much a part of the city: restaurants, music rooms, shops, and public spaces keep downtown busy well beyond the riverbank.

Each neighborhood offers another way in. The Village of East Davenport has small shops and places to stop for a meal, while the hills above the river reveal older homes and wide views. Families can pair a visit to the Putnam Museum with time outdoors, and the Freight House Farmers Market draws people back to the riverfront for local food and makers.
