Oakmont Education is pleased to announce the opening of Great Oaks High School & Career Center in Davenport, Iowa. The school will celebrate with a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Wednesday, September 30, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. Governor Kim Reynolds will be in attendance alongside students, families, school leaders, and community partners.

Located at 3562 North Brady Street, Great Oaks is a tuition-free, credit-recovery charter high school serving students ages 16 to 20. The school combines flexible scheduling, individualized academic support, and career technical education in high-demand fields, including construction, advanced manufacturing, and healthcare.

“Great Oaks represents more than the opening of a new school—it represents new possibilities for young people throughout the Davenport community,” said Cris Gulacy-Worrel, Vice President of Oakmont Education. “By pairing individualized academics with meaningful career preparation, we can help students earn their diplomas while building the confidence and skills they need for what comes next.”
