A showing of the various artworks will take place at Rock Island’s DeSoto Gallery through August. Spike O’Dell is a radio host from East Moline, IL. Nicknamed “Spike At The Mic” his career included 21 years at WGN in Chicago where he was a leader in the ratings for much of his tenure.  Read More

Chad Pregracke from Moline, IL is the founder of Living Lands & Waters an organization that aids in the protection of our nation’s rivers and watersheds. Is there any better way to have fun, while cooling off, on a hot Saturday morning than a Water Gun Fun Run?! No, there isn’t! QCScene joined the fun at the brand-new event from the Moline Parks and Recreation Department, Water Gun Fun Run, Saturday Jun 29 at Riverside Park (3300 5th Avenue Moline). It was a beautiful Saturday morning in the Quad Cities! The perfect weather for a Youth Fishing Challenge! Moline Parks and Recreation Department held their highly anticipated Youth Fishing Challenge today, Saturday Jun 8, at the Riverside Lagoon in Riverside Park (3300 5th Avenue Moline). Moline residents ages 5-12 and their families came together for some friendly competition with their fishing poles and tackle boxes!
