On Friday, July 9th from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. at the Whiskey Stop (726 15th Ave., East Moline), area bands and artists will take the stage to raise funds for Family Resources to support victims of sexual violence in the Quad-Cities. From July 2-August 31, 2021, Quad City Arts’ Art at the Airport presents paintings by Ann Kauff of Arlington Heights, Ill., with woven tapestries by Kara Fedje of Davenport, and ceramic sculpture by Will Van Dyke, of Evanston, Ill.. Ann Kauff presents Rooted in Place: Farms, Barns, and Bungalows, a series born out of residencies through the Fields Project in Oregon, Ill., that embedded artists in the everyday life of farm families. A Covid-inspired success from 2020 will return on Tuesday, Aug. 10, as Circa ’21 Dinner Playhouse will be back on its marquee for an outdoor show, at 1828 3rd Ave., Rock Island.
