UTHS and Moline Basketball Teams Battle in the Panther Den

School spirit filled United Township High School last night. The excitement and pride must have been felt for miles in neighborhoods surrounding the recently updated building. Western Big 6 rivals, United Township High School and Moline High School, played their last conference game for the 2019-2020 season in a packed Panther Den last night. Fifth Annual Midwest Elite Dragons Soccer Camp Kicking Off In March!

Got a player interested in learning about soccer, or keeping his or her skills sharp over the winter? The fifth annual Midwest Elite Dragons Soccer CAMP is coming up and the deadline to register is March 10! The CAMP, for boys and girls born in years 2007, 2008 and 2009, will teach kids soccer fundamentals, attack and defensive formations, team play and game theory. Athletes with mental or physical disabilities can check out the Beautiful Game with a beauty of a new program from East Moline Silvis Soccer Club! EMSSC is proud to present Top Soccer!  This program is for athletes ages 5-22 with mental or physical disabilities who want to learn to play soccer.  This will be a four week session in May, where once per week athletes practice skills and then participate in a coach-led game! Honor Loved Ones With Quad City Storm’s Paint The Ice

Tuesday January 28th the TaxSlayer Center will be open to the public from 10 AM – 7 PM for the Storm’s Hockey Fights Cancer Ice Painting.  Quad Citizens are encouraged to come to the arena to paint the names of loved ones who have fought cancer on the ice in the color that symbolizes the cancer they fought.  Painting is free and the Storm will be providing paint, brushes and everything needed for painting names on the ice.
