Mid America Premier U10 Team Guts Out Huge Muscatine Tourney Win

Mid America Premier’s U10 Red Team, the top-rated youth soccer squad in the Midwest region, gutted out a huge win in the Muscatine Soccer Club Fall Classic Tournament last weekend, taking home the first place gold and upping their 2017-2018 season record to a blistering 8-0. Playing up against teams stocked with 11-12 year olds, the Mid America squad, made up of 8-9 year olds, toughed out two tremendous wins on Saturday against the toughest competition in the tournament. Calling all disc golf enthusiasts and professionals! It is time for Iron Lion’s 3rd Battle of Credit Island! This year’s Battle of Credit Island is happening on Sunday Aug 27 with a tee off time of 9:30 a.m. at Credit Island Park in Davenport. This PDGA Sanctioned C-Tier event will consist two rounds of eighteen holes. Registration fees vary based on skill level. Pro Entry is $45, Advanced $35, Intermediate $30 and Recreational $30. The Mid American Premier Team White U10 squad began its season with a split in Illowa League play over the weekend, losing a hard-fought 9-5 match to North Scott on Saturday then rebounding to a big 13-1 win over Sterling on Sunday. Mid America Premier U10 Team Dominates Elmhurst Cup Tourney

Mid America Premier Soccer’s top-rated U10 team opened its new season by continuing its winning ways with a dominating win of the Elmhurst Cup over the weekend. The team played four games over the Aug. 12-13 tourney against a variety of squads from around Chicagoland on the pitches of the titular Windy City suburb. Seven teams were involved in the tourney, with the first three games being scored on points for victory and margin of victory. The oldest, largest and longest week-long bicycle touring event in the world has finally arrived. That’s right, it’s time for RAGBRAI! The Register’s Annual Great Bicycle Ride Across Iowa (RAGBRAI) is scheduled to begin Saturday July 22 and conclude on Saturday July 29. The RAGBRAI route averages 468 miles. National Pool Tourney Shoots Into Sharky’s This Weekend
