Once again, the Quad City Storm is stepping up to make a difference in the community. Known for raising money for their community, the Quad City Storm is giving fundraising a new twist. For years, sports teams have sold names on cancer jerseys to honor those who have fought cancer. But the Storm decided to take this opportunity to a new level and sell 1365 names so that every jersey is unique. EMSSC Spartans Ranked #9 In Illinois!

The latest Illinois Youth Soccer rankings just came out today, and the EMSSC Spartans U12 team has leapt into the top ten, at the number 9 ranking! The team is 16-3 and has only lost to teams ranked in the top three from Illinois and Missouri. Last weekend, they finished second at the Peoria Oktoberfest after a thrilling 4-3 loss to Peoria, which was ranked #1 last year and is in the top three this year, but the road to the championship game included wins against three teams ranked in the top 15 and two in the top 10. Quad City Storm Jerseys Helping Charities

The Quad City Storm will be auctioning twelve specialty jerseys this season and giving 100% of the net proceeds to non-profits in the Quad City Area. In the inaugural season, the Storm auctioned off five specialty jerseys that resulted in a majority of the over $170,000 that was given back to local non-profits.  The Storm were awarded the SPHL’s Wanda Amos Community Service Award for their commitment to the community.The SPHL has taken the plunge into the licensed jersey world and contracted four brands to be used by all ten teams: Peanuts, Nickelodeon, Mossy Oak and Marvel.
