Help With the Beautification of Bettendorf!

Spring is here! Which means it’s time to clean up the remnants of a harsh winter. Volunteers are needed for Bettendorf in Bloom, which takes place on Saturday Apr 6. Bettendorf in Bloom will focus on the clean-up and beautification of downtown streets and the I-74 corridor to Middle Road, in Bettendorf. Volunteers will meet at 8 a.m. at the Quad Cities-Waterfront Convention Center (2021 State Street Bettendorf). Dawn and On Music Festival Announces Lineup, Move to Schwiebert Park

The Quad Cities’ grassroots music festival “Dawn and On” revealed their talent lineup, at the same time confirming a venue change to Rock Island’s Schwiebert Park for the July 6 event. The day-long festival, now heading into its fifth year, had previously been held at Moline’s North Shore Inn in each of its first 4 years. Dawn and On has grown in attendance each year, exceeding 1500 attendees in 2018. It’s time for the only bi-state St. Patrick’s Day Parade in the country! And it’s right here in the Quad Cities! The Grand Parade takes place this Saturday Mar 16. The parade begins at 11:30 a.m. at the corner of 4th Avenue and 23rd Street in Rock Island. It will then wind its way west through downtown Rock Island following 4th Avenue to 20th Street, then to 3rd Avenue to 17th Street and finally to 2nd Avenue to the Centennial Bridge.
