The revered and lauded local golf tournament drawing fans and sportsmen from around the world, the John Deere Classic, runs at Moline’s Deere Run course Thursday through Sunday. The Quad Cities’ grassroots music festival “Dawn and On” will rise over Rock Island’s Schwiebert Park Saturday! The day-long festival, now heading into it’s fifth year, had previously been held at Moline’s North Shore Inn in each of it’s first 4 years. Due to the record-breaking flood of 2019, Mississippi Valley Blues Society announced the relocation of the 34th Mississippi Valley Blues Festival to Murphy Park at The Bend in East Moline (900 Bend Boulevard East Moline).
